How Can I Help You?

With every newborn session I plan and photograph, I am always asked, “How does this work?”

Ideally, I recommend scheduling a date for photos within 2-12 weeks of baby’s due date for a natural lifestyle session, Most sessions take place/are scheduled on weekday mornings, and newborn sessions are photographed in your home where you and the baby are most comfortable.

Since it is a lifestyle session, there is little to no “posing” involved, and most newborn sessions last around 90 minutes. A caveat about “no posing”, I will guide you loosely and give the session momentum, but we keep it relaxed so it has a gentle flow.

I am a natural light photographer, so if the weather is stormy or heavily overcast, in most cases we will reschedule your session. Good light in your home makes an enormous difference in your images, and it is definitely worth the wait to postpone.

Pricing

Pricing is all-inclusive and very straightforward. Newborn sessions are $700, which includes all your digital files. $200 is a non-refundable reservation fee due upfront to book your session. If you prefer a professional album with your sessions there are collections for those, too.

One week before your session your balance of $500, plus tax, will be due.

Maternity

Another question I am often asked is whether or not I offer maternity and the answer is YES!

Maternity sessions are only available as an add-on when booking a newborn session. They are best scheduled between 28-32 weeks pregnant, and I do those in a downtown/outdoor location or in a studio. Maternity sessions are $250, plus tax. They are 30-minutes and include approximately 15-digital photos.

  •  If you've ordered an album collection, you can easily favorite your desired images and I will design the album and it will arrive within 1-months time.

Session Day

It's the big day!

  • Relax - stay calm and go with the flow.   

  • Newborns and toddlers are unpredictable at best and the session always works out great if we just go with the flow.  

  • Don’t forget wipes and little bribes!

  • Take your phones out of your pockets and hairbands off your wrist.
